DIRECTOR - Catherine Fraser

Catherine Fraser holds a Bachelor of Music Teaching from Adelaide University and is the creative force behind SHISSF. After attending fiddle camps in USA, Canada and Scotland Catherine recognised the need to establish a camp of international calibre closer to home and SHISSF was born in 2004.

A world class performer and teacher, Catherine brings to the position of Director a wealth of knowledge, international touring experience, and strong organisational management and interpersonal relationship skills, making her an ideal person to lead the camp each year.

Catherine recognises the need for a high standard of teaching and SHISSF staff are selected on their ability to impart knowledge in a manner inclusive of all ages and ability levels, not merely on their performance abilities.
