Scholarships

We are once again offering a part scholarship to one under 18 year old, who needs some financial assistance to be able to attend SHISSF. A contribution of AU$300 or NZ$350 towards the early bird price school fees will be made to our 2012 recipient.

Scholarship recipients will be asked to help with some extra chores during the week (eg pot washing etc).

Applications for a scholarship must be made in writing and need to include the following:

1. A letter from the applicant outlining why they need assistance, details of their playing level and abilities, what their particular interest is in Scottish fiddle or accompaniment, and what they hope to gain from the SHISSF experience.
2. Two written references, one personal and one musical.

Closing date is 15th January 2012. Unsuccessful applicants will still be able to pay the early bird rate until 31st January 2012.
